Adult Sunday School
At Hueytown First there are a variety of Adult Sunday school classes, ranging from Career & College, to Senior Adults. Sunday School classes are a great way to grow in your faith and become better acquainted and form community with people in the church. All Sunday School classes meet from 9:00am until 9:50am.
- Adult Fellowship is a senior adult class studying the Bible together using the Adult Bible Series. Teachers include: Norma Morton & Raymond Widener
- Berthelle Waid is senior adult class that has great study lessons and great music. They are active in church activities such as clothes closet, food pantry and Sunday morning fellowship. "There is great spirit and fellowship in our class." Teachers include: Bill & Jane Hornsby & Jane Post
- Lighthouse is our newest Sunday School class and consist of young adult singles and young married couples. Teachers include: Lonnie Ezell
- Open Door class was formed in the 1960's. Age range: 45 and above. Most of the class has been together for many years, adding new members along the way. Our door is always "OPEN" to new members. Teachers include: Bruce Carpenter
- Seekers is a large older adult class that not only studies God's word together during Sunday School but works tirelessly on missions within our congregation, our community and through global ministries. Teachers include: Peggy Hendricks, Don Hubbard, & Alan Brown
